The incumbent will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and finalizing the preparation of the medium-term plan and its revisions, as well as providing support to relevant inter-governmental and expert bodies in their review of the medium-term plan and its revisions.

- Reviews, analyses and finalizes the preparation of the medium-term plan and its revisions - Provides substantive support to relevant inter-governmental and expert bodies - Ensures legislative mandates are accurately translated into programme budgets - Monitors budget implementation and determines/recommends reallocation of funds when necessary - Administers and monitors extra-budgetary resources
